This course has sold out the las t two years, so we are fortunate that Dr. Norm Abrahamson has agreed to put on the course for us for a third consecutive year!
This 15-week course will be similar to the UC Berkeley 40-hour course taught by Dr. Abrahamson on alternating years. Our version of the course is designed for working professionals and those looking to de epen their knowledge of Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis.
This course will follow the same outline as Dr. Abrahamson's course at UC Berkeley that is held every 2 years with the following differences:

Attendees meet via Zoom twice a week on Wedne sdays and Fridays from Wednesday, January 18 - Friday, May 12. The course w ill run each week except for the week of March 27-31 for spring break AND t he week of April 10-14 for CalGeo's Annual Conference. If an attendee is un able to make a live session, they can catch up on lectures and Q&A via the recordings and course materials stored in CalGeo's Online Learning Libr ary.
Due to the smaller class size, attendees will be able to intera ct more with Dr. Abrahamson and ask questions during each class to gain a d eeper knowledge of the topic.
