Exploring the CalGeo Website: Series #2
|
There is so much on CalGeo's website that we bet you don't know about! That is why each month, we will post a new tidbit about our website right here. Small, bite-sized info to give you the tools to become a SUPER-MEMBER!
TIP #1: Find a Geotech Near You Search
This is our #1 asked about feature! Yes, we do receive calls from the general public looking for soils reports or referrals. Make sure that your area of specialty is checked off in you profile so that you appear in the search.
TIP #2: Update your profile
If you need to update your profile to show a new address, include your areas of specialization (for the above Find a Geotech search) and other updates:
- Click the Member Login button at the top right of our website
- Login with your Email and password
- Click on Member Portal under Quick Links
- Click on the My Profile link under your name-badge
- Scroll down below your photo (if you have one) and the text boxes to the area that shows your contact information
- Click the edit button to update your information
Did you know? Key-contacts for organizations can un-link employees under their company account and add new employees! They can also register "Linked profiles" for various events and keep everyone under the same invoice!

- Cost savings compared to auditing a UC Berkeley class
- Available to anyone! Practitioners get early access ahead of current students.
- Sessions will be recorded to allow for flexible learning accommodating a work schedule
