Outstanding Project Awards - Call for Entries Every year, at our Annual Conference, CalGeo gives awards to the most Outstanding Projects of the year. Our members submit their project(s) for consideration a few months prior to the conference date. Our Immediate Past President heads a committee of three that judge each project based on established criteria. Once a decision has been made, all firms are notified. Winner(s) will receive a beautiful crystal trophy and will have the opportunity to present their project during the awards presentation luncheon at the Annual Conference in La Jolla, CA on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
The Awards Program is open to all Active member firms of CalGeo in good standing, except member firms on the judging committee. Any project will be considered for the award, but only projects completed and constructed within the previous five calendar years are eligible. We are now Calling for Entries and applications will be accepted through January 29, 2010. An Application packet has just been sent to all Active member firms. You may also download the forms here. |
